Unter dem Archon Glaukippos.Lobon aus (dem Demos) KedoiI war Sekretär.Beschluss von Rat und Volk; die HippothontisVIIIhatte die Prytanie inne; Lobon war Sekretär; Philistideswar Vorsteher; Glaukippos war Archon; Erasinides stellte den Antrag:zu belobigen Thrasybulos als einen Mann Mit Verdienstenum das Volk der Athener und willig, nach KräftenGutes zu tun; und zum Dank dafür, was er an Wohlta-ten getan hat der Stadt und dem Volk der Athener,ihn zu bekränzen mit goldenem Kranz und anzufertigenden Kranz im Wert von tausend Drachmen; DieHellenotamiai sollen das Geld dafür geben. Und dass ausru-fe der Herold bei dem Wettbewerb der Dionysien, weswegenihn das Volk bekränzte. Diokles stellte den Antrag:das andere, wie vom Rat (beantragt), aber: dass Thrasy-bulos Athener sei, und dass er in Phyle und Phratrie, welcheer wünscht, eingeschrieben werde; und dass alles Übrige,was das Volk beschlossen hat, in Kraft bleibe für Thrasybulos;dass er auch finden wird bei den Athenern noch andere Auszeichnung,deren er für würdig erachtet wird dafür, was er an Wohlta-ten dem Volk der Athener erwiesen hat; und das aufzeichneder Sekretär die beschlossenen Maßnahmen; dass man wähleaus dem Rat unverzüglich fünf Männer, diebestimmen sollen den dem Thrasybulos zukommenden Anteil;dass die anderen, die damals Wohltaten erwiesen haben dem Volkder Athener, - - -is, Agoratos,Komon, - - -, Simos,Philinos und - - -, als Wohltäter aufzeich-ne auf der (Akro)polis auf einer steinernen Stele der Sekretärdes Rates; dass ihnen auch sei wie Athenern das Recht zumErwerb von Grundstück und Haus, sowie Wohn-recht in Athen; dass Sorge trage für sie der Rat,der jeweils amtiert, sowie die Prytanen, damit sienicht Unrecht erleiden; dass die Stele in Auftrag gebendie Poleten im Rat (und) die Hellenotami-ai das Geld (dafür) geben. Wenn man beschließt, dass sie nochweitere Auszeichnung finden sollen, dass der Rat nach Vorberatungden Antrag vor das Volk bringe. Eudikos stellte den Antrag:das andere, wie von Diokles (beantragt), aber: betreffs jener, die sich bestechenließen zu dem Beschluss, den ihr gefasst habt für Apollo-doros: dass der Rat berate bei der nächsten Sit-zung im Prytaneion und Strafe verhänge, wenn er schuldigspricht, sie die sich bestechen ließen, und (sie) dem Ge-richt überstellt gemäß seinem Beschluss;dass die anwesenden Ratsmitglieder darlegen, wassie an Kenntnis (hierüber) haben, und wenn sonst noch jemand Kenntnis hat hier-über; dass das auch für einen Privatmann möglich ist, sofern er es wünscht. vvacat

Erasinides proposed:to praise Thrasyboulos, who is a good manconcerning the Athenian People and keen to doall the good he can; and in return for the good he has donefor the Athenian [city or Council] and People,to crown him with a gold crown; and to makethe crown from a thousand drachmas; and let theGreek treasurers give the money; and [to announceat the Dionysia] in the competition [for tragedies] the reason whythe People crowned him. ‒ Diokles proposed:In other respects in accordance with the Council, but Thrasyboulosshall be an Athenian and be enrolled in whichever [tribe] and phratryhe wishes; and the other things that [have been votedby the People are to be valid] for Thrasyboulos;and it shall be possible for him also to obtain from the Athenianswhatever else may be deemed good concerning hisbenefaction to the Athenian People; and the secretaryshall write up what has been voted; and to choose[five? men from the Council] immediately,[to adjudge the portion?] accruing to Thrasyboulos;and the others who did good [then] tothe Athenian People, - -is and Agoratosand Komon and - - - and Simon andPhilinos and - -es, the secretary of the Councilshall inscribe them as benefactors on the acropolison a stone stele; and they shall have the [right to own property] asfor Athenians, [both a plot of land] and houses, and to dwellat Athens, and the Council in officeand the prytany shall take care thatthey suffer no harm; and the official sellers shall let the contractfor the stele [in the Council]; and the Greek treasurersshall give the money; and if it decides that they[should obtain something else in addition?], the Council shall formulate a proposaland bring it to the People. ‒ Eudikos proposed: inother respects in accordance with Diokles, but concerning those who have given bribesfor the decree which was voted for Apollodoros,the Council is to deliberate at the next sessionin the Council chamber, and to punish them,voting to condemn those who have given bribes [and to bring them?]to a court as seems best to it; andthe Councillors present are to reveal whatthey know, and if there is anyone who knows anything else aboutthese men; and a private individual may also (give information) if he wishes to do so.vacat
